Christmas – Children’s Creative Workshops The Cape Breton Centre for Craft & Design is excited to offer a series of Christmas Children’s Creative workshops designed to inspire creativity and holiday fun! (1.) Christmas Clay Creations! Date: November 21, 2026 (Saturday) Time: 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm Instructor: Glynis Thomas Ages: 7 to 12 years Fee: $40 Get your kids into the holiday spirit with this fun, hands-on clay workshop. During this three-hour class, students will create their own unique Christmas decoration using clay while learning basic hand-building techniques. Glynis Thomas has always had a passion for art and shares that love with her four children. She has been painting, drawing, and sculpting (with clay, paper) for over 40 years. She is a certified instructor for the RESPECT & DARE (to resist drugs and violence) programs for children, as well as a First Aid/CPR Instructor for 30 yrs.
